I almost don't know where to start this post. Yes, Blood
Finale wraps up the God Wars series. That doesn't mean those characters are
going away.
That's not what I intended.
You'll see quite a few of them in the Saa Thalarr series,
beginning with Hope and Vengeance,
which will likely be released in February, if not sooner.
You'll see Adam, Kiarra, Merrill, Joey, Grace, Devin,
Dragon, Justin, Radomir, Wlodek, Weldon, Mack, Kyler, Cleo, Flavio—the list is
enormous.
I also intend to write a series about Lexsi, Reah's youngest
daughter. I don't know how many books will be in her series, but there are two
on the drawing board right now.
The Finder series is also coming, and the first book,
appropriately titled Finder, is more
than half finished. Even in that state, I've had some very positive feedback on
it, and it is connected (trust me) to the God Wars series, although it might
not seem like it at first.
Plus, the door leading into the God Wars is still open a
crack. Just this morning, I was thinking about another plot line. Yeah, I know.
But it's time you knew a secret—originally, I intended to end the Blood Destiny
series at book 5. But then I realized I couldn't leave it like that. I wrote
another five books, because I couldn't help myself.
I guess what I'm saying is that you shouldn't mourn the
ending of the God Wars. That ending is located at an open door, leading into
other series. All I'm asking is that you stay with me. Make this journey—this leap
of faith—with me, into the next universe. There is so much more to see and do.
You'll see old friends and new ones. Old enemies and new ones.
The stories will continue, as long as I can put fingers to a
keyboard. I've been saving them—for you.
Happy New Year.
May all your dreams come true.

DeleteThe conclusion of a series is such a bitter-sweet feeling … unless it's one of Connie's series ,,, then you always know the friends you have meet will be back in new ways, with new troubles, and / or helping new friends.
