  1. Loved it! You have done it again. You have me totally addicted to these books.

Thanks for all the hard work in getting them to us so regularly, I dont know what I would do without my Blood Destiny fix.

    1. Hi, Amy!
I always upload to both sites at the same time. Sadly, bn.com has taken anywhere from 12-48 hours recently to get the books up. No idea why that is. I hope it appears soon.

  4. So, in book 10 it states that Tory knows the truth when he hears it. That being said, in the scene where he meets Griffin, Griffin claims that he did not know Redbird would place a mindbond with Toff. But in a previous book, he stated that was his reason for switching babies because he did not want to loose his son. So do you have a reason for not having Tory say this was a lie or was it just an error?

    1. I'm not sure Tory would point that out. My apologies for not making everything clear :(

    2. I think in the earlier book Griffin knew that he wouldn't get his son back if taken. I don't recall him saying it was because of the mind bond, so he may have been technically telling the truth.

  5. Wow. Wow wow wow. Downloaded at 11 this morning, finished it around 6 and then just reread the last 100 pages or so. Wow. I adore you. And your books and characters. And now I have to go find a way to do a global search through all 10 books on "brown hair" while constructing a family tree. Sigh.

    1. Have you read the Legend of the Ir'Indicti series? You might not have to work so hard :)

  6. Excellent work, yet again! Every time I think I can't possibly love it more, you prove me wrong!

I am having a couple of timeline questions, but just tell me if I am making an idiot of myself.

In Blook Rebellion, Toff is around before the High Demon Twins are born. But in Blook Reunion he is a year younger.

Also, I read and re-read, but I don't understand where I lost the 5 years between the Twins births and Ry and Tory's birth. I thought the surrogates were basically pregnant when the twins were about a year old. I thought the timing during Blood Redemption started 3 weeks after Blood War (that is what it says about her flying through the universes) and I thought in ended about a year later (with the birth of Ry and Tory).

I'm confused, please help straighten me out.

Can't state how much I loved the POV change, even though I didn't think I would. Just LOVED it.

    1. High Demon twins=my mistake. Several years passed between the course of Blood Rebellion and Blood Redemption (In my mind, anyway). I may have to go back and check things. Yeah, I'm losing it :(

    2. You're still the best! :) Besides, you are allowed creative license and it wasn't critical to this story! :) However, since I want Ry to have a shot (I'm a sucker for star crossed lovers) it would help if he was a little closer to their ages. Hee Hee.

Didn't mean to make you frown. You should be all smiles today being on the Fantasy Bestseller List and having such a fantastic reaction from all to this release.

I knkow I was super-happy and now I'm dying to know how everything fits in with High Demon.

I did love the bit of redemption for Griffin. In my mind - it's a very human(oid) thing to make a series of mistakes and feel like there's no way out, even after hurting someone you love deeply.

    3. I've already started a corrected manuscript, and can resubmit after all the bugs are (hopefully) fixed. In the corrected version, the twins are nearly sixteen. Don't worry about Ry. He is one of my all-time favorites, and you'll see his happy ending in Demon's Revenge and Demon's Dream, #5 and #6 of the High Demon series.

  7. I am so glad to hear that. I didn't think I could love anyone more than Drake and Drew, but then you brought in Ry and Tory. I just love those kids!

I hope that you hear all the admiration in my comments. I just think you are awesome and I even dream about LeAth Veronis sometimes, LOL. I just adore your stories and storytelling ability.

Like many others, I must say, please be sure to take enough time for yourself. Nothing would be worse, in my opinion, than you burning out. I love the frequency of your releases and the high quality with which you do release.

I was just thinking how nice it might be to run away from home for a day. Something to consider....

  8. ugh - that was meant to say - although I love the frequency and high quality of your releases, I want to be reading your stories for years to come and you taking care of yourself is a huge part of that! :)

Hope that we get to meet up at some conference next year!

  9. Another stellar entry. I believe I will have to read this a time or two more to decide how I want to comment on the entire story, gotta love it when that happens =).

One thing that did not surprise me though was Griffin keeping secrets from himself ... sigh ... will that man never learn? Can you imagine the ends Lissa would have gone to in order to protect her brother had Griffin merely asked? And as a result how much better his relationship with Lissa would be (and we would be up two winged Infilathi ... >.>)?

I did have to explain both hell and Dodge before it was over, though. - Connie Suttle

    1. Thanks, Ann!
I planned for Destroyer to be the last book, but there are lots of things that have to happen, so who knows? There could be more, I just haven't thought it out, yet :) As far as more kids for Lissa, well, you might get an answer somewhere in the High Demon series.
      Happy Thursday!

  11. Another great book! I must say I was glad that Lissa was not getting betrayed by the people close to her for a change. Lissa is such a wonderful character and it has been extremely rare for anyone to go out on a limb to support her against vampire leaders (Wlodak) or pushy parents. Now I can't wait for the next Ir'Indicti book! But like the others said above, please make sure to take enough time for yourself :)
