  2. I will just say this while giving a chance for others to read. You did it again Connie. A very satisfying series conclusion. Thanks for releasing it early!

  3. What a great book, are you releasing another in April or are you going to wait for May. Not that I'm being rude and impatient or anthing! ;P

    1. I have to finish Blood Double and then edit, so it will likely be May before it is released.

  5. What a Great Ending and Book all together. Thank-you! Um...Just a quick question about the next series. I hope this does not offend in anyway, but will there be a different main character for the God War Series?

    1. Thanks! Yes, the focus will be on a new character, but Lissa, Reah, Ashe, Trajan and the others will show up regularly--remember, this is the God Wars, and there are still two unknowns out there :)

  6. An there really is only going to be four books only for God Wars? That seems so few for something that sounds so epic! Although, from history, you are definitely able to pack alot in a few pages

    1. As of right now, I am writing four books simultaneously. I don't know if there will only be four at this point, because there is an avenue (plot line) that can certainly be explored further. Whether that plot line will be included in the God Wars or be explored as a separate series, well, I'll have to make that decision later.

    2. Wow! No wonder you need all of April and into May to work on the God Wars series. Good luck and please take some down time, we definitely don't want you to burn out. Happy St. Patrick's Day and Easter ahead of time to you and yours!

  7. Thanks for this conclusion. All those cliffhangers were emotionally draining!

    1. I know, and I apologize. From my end, at times it felt as if I were juggling twenty balls at once. The trouble with that, obviously, is that it was my own darn fault!

    2. Oh no, don't apologize! I think that good stories find their natural breaks and endings. All it means is that my husband had to hear me whine a little extra between books.

  8. Standing Ovation. A great ending and still a great lead into the next series. You are a fabulous writer.
Thanks and I'm looking forward to the next books.

  9. I wanted to applaud you for another well done book. I really appreciate that the book went how you envisioned and planned and none of the comments from your fans had any influence on where you took the book. I love that! You created such an awesome world that I can keep going back year after year. I can't wait to see where you take us with the God War series. I know you got a fan for life in me. ^^

  10. So far I have held off on reviewing this book because it left me with a lot of conflicting feelings. On one hand there is a lot of closure, justice, and rewards, while on the other hand I see the stage being set for further misadventure (yes I know, sometimes I think too much ... lol). In spite of my conflicts this is another outstanding conclusion to a part of the overall story arc; Connie once again proves to be the Queen of the plot twist ... /salute.

I am looking forward to the God Wars as well as the Saa Thalarr series (what can I say ... I LOVE background stories).

    1. I'm looking forward to rewriting Hope and Vengeance plus the follow-up, which doesn't have a proper title yet, but that'll have to wait for a little while. God Wars comes first :)
