Blood Rebellion Release

In record time (3 hours) Blood Rebellion is available on Amazon. I haven't checked B&N yet, but the book was submitted to both at the same time. Happy reading, everyone!

  1. Thank You Connie! I searched under your name first on Amazon and it wasn't there. However, when I specifically searched for Blood Rebellion it came up. Now I can't wait to get reading. Thanks for all your hard work and imagination.

  4. Thank you soooo much for finishing this so quickly after Bumble. I can only imagine what your writing schedule must have been like. It's my birthday this Saturday, and I definitely view getting this book as an early present ; ). I just downloaded Blood Rebellion from Amazon, and I cannot wait to start reading and find out what the heck led to the scene in the teaser. However, I told myself that I have to be good (aka do some actual work) before I can start sneaking a peek. Otherwise, I will not get anything done until I finish reading this book **wiggling my toes in excitement**!

    2. I just wolfed this book down in one sitting **wink wink**. I think I went through a gamut of emotions on this one - anger, sadness and complete happiness (but have to agree with another blogger b/c I kind of dislike Gabron right now). I'm looking forward to the last two installments!

    3. I agree--Gabron is definitely in the "cat house" like the twins say :) We'll see how that turns out!

  7. Hi Connie

Another fantastic book. thank you. I absolutely loved the ending. I want to say more about the book but I wont just yet in case I give out spoilers for people who haven't read it all yet! I can't wait for the next one now.

    1. Thanks, Linda! I'm doing a quick run through Blood War right now to check for continuity errors before I start editing Shadow. You'll have the next one soon, I promise :)
      Have a great weekend!

  8. OMG! I loved it. And like Linda said the ending was great. I can't wait to see where the next installment takes us. Especially with the Gabron situation which sucked because I liked him sooo much when he was first introduced. I don't want to comment on anything that would ruin the book for someone who hasn't had the chance to read it yet so I won't ask any of the other questions I was a little confused on until later but this one shouldn't give any spoilers away, I hope, so I'll ask.

Why are Devin and Grace the only two females that share every single one of their mates with each other? Well and Karzac with Lissa, of course.

Can't wait for Blood War! Is it still on schedule for May?
Great job! You are so awesome!

    1. Thank you! I'm really glad you liked it :)

As to your question, well, there was another group (Saa Thalarr) that had a blended group of shared mates, but when I revised Blood Queen (I pulled out and rewrote 16,000+ words) I decided that it would muddy the waters, so I eliminated it completely. That doesn't mean that it won't ever be done again, but right now other blended groups don't exist in the books.

Blood War (barring any unforeseen difficulties) is definitely on schedule for a May 1st release! In the meantime, I'll be working to get Shadow ready for its April 1st release. Happy weekend!

  9. I loved the new book.... Already started a count down until the other one comes out... I have one question about a part in the book... its when Lissa is talking to Garde on top of the High demons palace saying how complicated her life is... she says "I have a mate that i am terrified to have sex with." Which mate is she referring too...

    1. Hi, casey993,
So glad you liked Blood Rebellion--thank you!
When Lissa made that comment, she meant him--Garde. She knew his Thifilathi would manifest for the claiming, so she didn't want to climb in bed with him because of that :)
Thanks for posting and happy weekend!

  11. Nice story. :) It will be interesting to see what War and Redemption bring with them. Those Elemaiya certainly left a mess behind them.

It was nice to see the wolves get a little love, and the new Saa Thalarr recruits were cool.

Will we see some focus on the wolves' world in this series, or will that be in another? I get the impression that the Bumble series will be putting a lot of focus on the Elemaiya.

    1. Thanks, Alfred :)
I was having lunch last Thursday with my editor and my website designer, and we were discussing a separate series about Harifa Edus, but right now that's still in the idea stage. I'll let you know if I put words on a page someday. Meanwhile, the wolves will get some love in the Bumble series. You haven't seen a lot of Trace and his brother Trajan (Winkler's Second) but you will. Winkler also plays a very important role in all the Bumble series (there's a 250 year gap between Bumble and Blood Rebellion). You're right--the Elemaiya did leave a mess behind. We'll see how things turn out with them. It was great hearing from you--Happy Sunday!
