Blood Royal Teaser

(If you haven't read Blood Domination, perhaps you should carefully consider before reading the following)


"Rene', what will you do if I kick his ass?" I jerked my head toward Tony.

"Nothing, as long as you do not inflict permanent harm," Rene' smiled slightly. I got up to go after Tony, but Wlodek hauled me back.

"We will not allow a brawl between our two youngest," he declared and settled me back in my seat.

    The word on the street is you are going to charge 2.99 for your next book! Honestly I thought you where already charging that amount since Blood sense! Awesome series, loved Blood Domination can't wait for Blood Royal, hopefully i'll be reading it on my new kindle fire. Again thanks Connie!!

    Hi, Dare! So glad you liked BD. Thanks! I must say, I have been eyeing the kindle fire myself, mostly because it is rumored to have a USB port. If you get one, let me know how good it is. I may buy one for myself if it's as good as I think it might be.

    I just finished reading your whole series in the last couple and i must saw i am very impressed wit not only the originality but also how easily the transition was from vampire book to something so much more. i will be sure to pre-order Blood Royal whenever it is possible. thank you for writing these and i cant wait until i get to continue

    Sadly, a pre-order option is not available for my books as yet, but the good news is that Blood Royal is still on track for a November 15th release. I'll be sure to keep you posted on this blog and on my website regarding any changes. Thank you so much for posting, you made my weekend brighter.

    I really enjoyed all of four of your books. You are definitely an asset to the urban fantasy genre. I loved your character development and that your characters had a sense of humor. All to often I read urban fantasy books that really lack a sense of humor. Its nice to have an occasional laugh even though you main character is loping off heads of those who REALLY deserved it. I am eagerly awaiting the release of Blood Royal, although I agree with the other poster it would be nice if amazon would put it up for preorder.

    Hi Connie, excellent books (all of them). I'm looking forward to more of Lissa and company. I did want to ask if you get to keep more of the money from one bookstore vs others. I'm not particular where I get them, so if one is better for you then I'll buy from that store.

    I suffer from insomnia and am not a TV watcher and so I read. I read about 700 pages a day. So I finished the four books in your Blood Destiny series is less than two days. I have not been this excited about discovering a series since I met Ilona Andrews' Kate Daniels. Thank you very much for this new and exciting twist to the fantasy genre. I can not wait to see what is next in store for Lissa.

    I just started reading your blood destiny books last Monday. I am currently on your last one Blood Domination and I am half finished with it. Is Blood Royal going to be available on Kindle? I was hooked from page one of the first book! Unfortunetly I am a fast reader so books just aren't written fast enough for me. By the way I think Lissa needs a Harley! Just saying.

    Thank you for writing such wonderful books. I have read all four books and can't wait for the fifth to come out. In this day and age is extremely wonderful to slip away from the days worries and settle into a good book. Thank you again and I hope to read many more books of yours in the future. The other thing i like about your books is that they are affordable and like many people right now that means I can verify the cost to read them.

    I agree with you completely--books have always been an escape for me, both reading and writing. I'm so glad you like the Blood Destiny series, and I understand about the pricing issue--I gritted my teeth just the other day when I had to pay nearly $13 for an e-book I've been waiting to read. I can only hope that one day prices on all e-books will even out and become a little more reasonable :)

    I've read the series four times now, so I have to admit to a bit of anticipation regarding Blood Royal. However, it's not up for advanced sale on Amazon. Is that something that's limited to the big publishers?

    I'm glad you're enjoying the series :)

    As far as advanced sales go, I'm assuming that those are reserved for established authors backed by publishing houses. As an indie author, I don't fit into those categories. My books are offered for sale a short time after I submit them to the e-book publishers. I wouldn't object if one of them offered an advance sales option to me, but so far, I'm not sure it's even possible.

    Blood Royal is still on track to be released on the 15th of this month, and if that changes for any reason, I'll post here, on the website and on my Facebook page.

    Blood Queen (book #6) is tentatively scheduled for release in December. I originally wrote 9 books in the series, but I haven't decided if or when I'll release 7-9. It will be next year at the earliest if I do. I'm so glad you like the series, and thanks for posting!
