I would be highly surprised if we did not see her develope more powers.

Also I can see Lissa giving up a great deal of power under the right conditions (i.e. regaining the ability to carry her own children), but this is just conjecture ... lol.

The best thing about the future is that it comes one day at a time.
- Abraham LincolnLarryhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10221418598591074869noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4271205709586278094.post-88259014399930360262012-07-09T12:18:35.817-05:002012-07-09T12:18:35.817-05:00Hi Connie

It's Monday, and this is how my day has go...Hi!
It's Monday, and this is how my day has gone so far:
Laundry--
Vendetta line edits >Growl, grumble>

Reading your post made me laugh out loud! You get five stars from me and the first page of Blood Reunion:

Toff was seventeen and his life was in ruins. He didn't look seventeen or anywhere near that age. Twelve was closer to the mark; his height and face worked against him. The others teased him unmercifully about it, although he kept up easily in all the lessons.

Today was one of the bad days—Toff jumped into the chilly pond with the others after a long day of harvesting grapes—throwing off his clothing of course, just as the others did. The boys he swam with were all proud of what they had between their legs. Toff didn't have that. Had never had that. The word eunuch had been whispered around him since he was old enough to work in the fields during the summers and early fall. At first, he hadn't known what it meant. Toff had learned, however, and the revelation embarrassed him. He was less than the others.

"It's nothing," his mother, Redbird, told him when he came home in tears at age nine. At the time, it hadn't mattered so much. Now it did. The males his age would pair up at times with one of the girls, and they'd go off together, down by the pond or into one of the orchards. Toff saw their smiles as they returned. The older boys didn't hold back their sneers or taunts either, whenever they caught Toff looking their way. Of course, they never did it around the elders—they knew better. Toff's persecution was always done away from anyone who might intervene.

Happy Monday!
ConnieCS-Connie Suttlehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15619897360824844430noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4271205709586278094.post-74684864650866194572012-07-09T10:21:06.139-05:002012-07-09T10:21:06.139-05:00Darn it, Darn It, DARN IT!!! You can't (I guess you can, since you did), but you can't tease us with a line like "Toff was seventeen and his life was in ruins" and not expect consequences. Mainly, me begging you to release the rest of that story ASAP. So hear it goes...

PLEEEEEEEEEEEEASE!!! time infinity ;P

BTW, I may need to go through some type of rehabilitation because I am hooked on your stories. I check this site regularly to see if you have posted any new information to tide me over until I get my next fix. Which is sad, I am addicted to books. In fact, here is the first line in Blood Reunion: "Toff was seventeen and his life was in ruins."

#3 There will be some payback for Griffin in the High Demon series.

#4 I'm not sure if (or how quickly) that might happen. I hope I get to it someday, even if it's in a short story.

Also, The Mighty Hand cannot be a future mate for Lissa. That will be explained eventually, as well as the reason he holds back his strength. I'm plotting out those books now :)

Happy weekend!
csCS-Connie Suttlehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15619897360824844430noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4271205709586278094.post-4276217311038040942012-07-07T01:48:07.280-05:002012-07-07T01:48:07.280-05:00Hi Elizabeth,
Welcome back, nice to see you aga...Hi Elizabeth,

Welcome back, nice to see you again :-).

1) The reptanoids, I think that would fall under Norian's job description ... I believe Lissa's time would be better spent chasing Zellar down.

2) Yes ... more LOL.

3 & 4) Griffin ... hmmm ... [places both hands in pockets and walks away from soapbox].

On Norian - I highly suspect that the mates will take matters in their own hands, by either having a long discussion with Norian or simply seducing Lissa (nothing wrong with a good seduction to make your mate happy), or possibly a combination thereof. I have to agree that Norian got a lot of time in this book, however her twins have done the same a time or two.

That many mates probably helps in explaining the times that Lissa spends months flitting around the universes ... lol.

I think we will learn more about the Mighty in the Legend of the Ir'Indicti Series, there is prob ably a lot of overlap that has not been made apparent yet.

All human wisdom is contained in these two words--"Wait and Hope.”
― Alexandre Dumas, The Count of Monte CristoLarryhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10221418598591074869noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4271205709586278094.post-121869560884109412012-07-06T07:04:51.811-05:002012-07-06T07:04:51.811-05:00My thoughts --

I have no doubt that Lissa will do it, just that I am impatient for them to get away from evil.

2) The babies. All of them (including Toff). I want their stories. :)

3) As it comes to Griffin - I really appreciated the comment Belen made. He has no faith. I think it must be overwhelming to see so much. While I want him to learn a lesson, more importantly, I want to see Lissa and Griffin reconcile.

4) And on that note, I want to know why he separated Kyler and Cleo (oh and I want their back stories).

Umm...so basically, I kinda want to know everything about everyone. I love this world.

On to things I think others may disagree with -- I think that Norian got WAY MORE than his fair share of Lissa's time and attention. Norian while needing the unconditional love that Lissa offers, well, he's kind of a spoiled brat. Rigo deserved it so much more. Lissa needed a Rigo in her life and he deserves some time from her. They need a honeymoon! :)

I find the THOUGHT of 17 mates exhausting, let alone the idea of trying to give each of them attention. I think her mates are incredibly patient and sharing, especially the ones that don't have other mates. Hope that the harmony remains.

Lastly - the Mighty Hand. I loved the story, but I would like to understand the strata of the demi-gods a bit better. He kinda acts like maybe he's a future mate for Lissa? To pick up on Lissa's thought - why does he choose to withhold his strength?

Love, love, love the story! Can't wait for more.
ElizabethElizabethhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06410609540460162642noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4271205709586278094.post-39272870553443417742012-07-03T12:19:09.044-05:002012-07-03T12:19:09.044-05:00Thanks, Alfred!Thanks, Alfred!CS-Connie Suttlehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15619897360824844430noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4271205709586278094.post-73218948783741263882012-07-03T12:18:01.976-05:002012-07-03T12:18:01.976-05:00Hi, Taylor--
